Back to School

So I can't think of a better way to start middle school than with a pink cast. I know Kat is going to do great. Kat is a great example to everyone around her. She always works hard and strives to CTR. I hope we will get used to this getting up early.
We are so happy to have Abby's best friend Laura in her class. Abby is always kind and thinking of others. Abby is always on her best behavior, Mrs. Holland is going to love her.

We had to fill out a paper about Liam and on his weakness the only thing Zac could think of was Kryptonite! He is a hero to us, keep up the good work!

I don't know what Zander is going to do without Liam.....he is already missing him.

Kat's Surgery

Kat had a extra bone that was causing her pain so we decided to take it out.
This is her just after the surgery, she did really well. Kat was very concerned about the IV . Dr. Logel said she was all giggles and didn't feel a thing after a little gas. Hopefully she will be back on the soccer field soon.

Half Marathon

So way back in Jan. I had been thinking I really needed to get myself together. I really wanted to start running but I couldn't get off the couch. I had prayed for help and I have to say Heavenly Father really answers our prayers. Lindsay called me one day inviting us to FHE and she then mentioned something about running. We started running to get in shape, then for a 5k next thing I knew we are training for a HM. Running has made a huge difference in my life. I owe Lindsay so much because I know I wouldn't have done it without her. Thanks for putting up with me 4 mornings out of the week!

Zac couldn't be there because my kids had a dance receital the same day but my Mom was there to cheer me on.

Yes, I know Lindsay and I look just as good at the end as we did the begining. We can't help it.

Oh did I mention that Lindsay was pregnant and I had strep?
