MUD RUN

The Mud Run is a 4.2 mile run with 32 obstacles. I have to say I was nervous because I wasn't to sure what I was in for. I had seen some pictures and new that it is the hardest run of it's kind in the US. This is our team the Mud Wives before we started the race.

This is us after. Even though it was hard we made it through every obstacle in 2 hours. I am really proud of us! I had many cuts and bruises but it was all worth it.
Kat was a little upset she had to do the kids but I can't wait to have her on my team next year!

Me, Abby and Kat had to walk about 3 miles just to get to the run in 95 degrees because we got stuck in traffic. By the time we got there Abby didn't want to do the run but I am so glad she changed her mind. I think she is too.

Zander didn't want to leave and still talks about going back.

I don't even know if you can recognize this child, yes it is Liam and I think he had a ton of fun. He kept doing the course over and over. It took him many showers to get all the mud off.

I have to say thanks to Zac for being such a great husband. He only had to sit in traffic for 3 hours and then help watch all the kids for us. Without him none of this would have happened. I think next year he is going to join in on the race, you better start working out!

Beach trip 2010

Every year before the kids go back to school we try to take a trip to the beach. We love to relax and just have fun!
I don't think he is going to turn into a prince!

We had a lot of fun at the pool. I think the kids like Zac to throw them the best. Zander loved playing choo choo with the rope in the middle of the pool. As usual the kids would get mad at each other because of handstand contest, how do you cheat at that?

I hope Zac got to relax a little bit.

The kids waiting for some waves to come.

Don't let this picture fool you. He never stopped the entire time but since he saw us all take a turn sitting with sunglasses on he thought he might try it.

Post Baptism Party

So Lance let us use Just Dance for the WII and we had so much fun. Here are some pictures of us getting down.

I think Lance could play this a little to well. Let's just say we all saw the feminine side of him that day!

Mom, Beth, Nick and Char

Kat and Ab

We ate so much food.

Char attacking Liam and Luke.

Baptism

This was such a special day. Liam was so excited he couldn't hold still. With a big grin on his face he told me that he can't stop moving. I am so glad he made the decision to be baptized. Liam has such a sweet spirit. I know that Heavenly Father had a big grin on his face that day too!
I can't believe how handsome these guys are! I was happy that Zac's close fit him this time.

My Mom always say's there is always something funny that happens on a baptism day that makes you remember it forever. Well our song leader didn't show up and thankfully Elizabeth Grannis came to see Liam. Elizabeth got up and picked a song not knowing that the song had already been picked and was on the program. She started singing and about half way through the song realized everyone else was singing something different and we all started over. Elizabeth felt bad but we are just happy she could be part of our baptism memories.

Eight

I can't believe that Liam is 8! I love this little guy so much. We had some of his freinds over for a party and this is him thinking of a wish to make before he blows out the candle. I hope it comes true!

So these are only some of the highlights from our trip. Many of the other pictures are on my dads and Josh's camera. All Zander could talk about was the kangaroos and he got plenty of them, they are everywhere! We also got put into Fremantle Jail which they should'nt have let Josh out but they did anyway. We got to go see a Monk town that was very interesting and I don't think I will be changing religions anytime soon. I am glad I made it through my black swan attack. If you ever see one I say run! The beach was beautiful and we got to see a great sunset. My new favorite word is rubbish. Everything was so great but the best thing of all was spending time with my family. I am so grateful for the chance to go and see them. I loved staying up late and watching movies. I already miss my neice saying Aunt Suz in her little voice. I was so happy to hold Paxton as much as I want, they are lucky I didn't bring him home with me! I love having a big family and I am so glad my parents gave me that. Even if we are so far apart when we get back together it seems like nothing has changed, even the drama that comes with us all. Thank heavens for technology! I don't think we would have survived without skype. I was so glad to be able to see my own children everyday even though we were on the other side of the world. Zac did such a good job while I was gone that for a moment I thought they could totally do it without me, then I got home and I knew I was needed! It was a awesome trip and I am so glad I got to go.

Brother's

Liam is writting a book for school. Today we had to fill out the Author information before his book gets published. So I was asking Liam the questions and one of his answers was so sweet I had to blog it. What is you best memory. Without any pause he looked at me and said "The day Zander was born." When I asked him why that day he then said "Because I wouldn't have him if that day never happened." Liam has always been so good to Zander. He has lost his patience with him a few times but most of the time he lets Zander follow him all over. Zander wants to do everything Liam does. Liam is such a great big brother. I hope they stay best friends forever!
